A collision of rude language and cute design created these designs with a script type, pastel colors, and glitter paired with a selection of a sailor's favorite words. The concept behind the campaign as a whole paired smaller pins in a matching color palette to allow for everyone to customize their pin's styling: one pin, two pins; matching colors, contrasting colors.
The production of these pins were funded through Kickstarter with successful funding of the main goal and on additional stretch goal.
Design-wise, these designs require a thoughtful layout for the manufacturing with proper line weights for metal molds and use of Pantone colors for enamel coloring all in a scale-able vector design file. Supplementing the design the of the product, Kickstarter campaigns require an intense amount of social media promotion and graphics for marketing across Kickstarter itself and social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter).
