To pursue designs outside of client work and continue to bring graphic designs through physical production, I launched my own shop through Etsy in July 2019 with designs themed around my own personal interests and passions with a bright color palette and snarky copy. Topics and styles range widely as stickers are an affordable product to explore and experiment, but all topics are uniquely sassy, snarky, and sharp: like me.
Many pin collections feature accompanying sticker designs drawing from the pins themselves, as well.
As a proud, vocal user of menstrual cups as a sustainable, affordable option for period products, this sticker design was long coming. A soft, pastel color palette avoids the typical, gender hues of pink or red that are so often paired with even the most fiercely empowering stickers surrounding menstruation.
The illustration itself features cups full and clashing together in a cheers because the sticker is nothing if not a celebration of periods and my favorite tool for managing them.
Inspired by a great love for the My Hero Academia anime (and manga) by Kohei Horikoshi of Shonen Jump, my most popular sticker so far mimics classic, hand-drawn speech bubble style in a crisp vector format for sticker production.
This micro-collection of three stickers features self-care reminders in the aggressive, shouting style of main character Bakugo Katsuki, borrowing his familiar (insulting) pet names to evoke the voice of a familiar hero in mind when trying to drink more water, wear sunscreen, or remember those daily vitamins.
Below is customer photos because the best representation of products is always when they've made it to their real home: on water bottles, cabinet corners, and bathroom mirrors.
