As an extension of "Sex Ed," I wanted to produce something that wasn't focused on education, but shared the same mission statement of sex-positivity. I wanted something that would be attractive to those who didn't need an educational source, but wanted to promote the concept of sex-positivity and spur conversations.
To do this, I launched my first ever Kickstarter which was successfully funded in April 2019.
Through this project, I produced enamel pins, magnets, buttons and stickers with my own designs pulled from the magazine that inspired the project and found my first commercial, wholesale opportunity with Sugar shop in Baltimore.
Most of the project, besides the designs for the products themselves, was focused on the promotion of the Kickstarter to find funding via social media (primarily Instagram) to fund a project with no pre-existing social media audience.
