The Women's Resource Center at Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota is a non-profit office within the private university that supplies support to students through products, talks, and events. I worked in the office in Spring 2019 to expand their sexual education programs and to support their social media and design team.
In preparation of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, I designed and ran a campaign on menstrual health and conversation that lead up to several giveaways with donations solicited from Intimina, Glad Rags, and Veeda Organics. The campaign relied on a tightly restricted color palette to match the Women's Resource branding and interwove on social media with event promotion for FemFair (below) which I was the event coordinator for. The social media posts were generated from a selection of custom illustrations and an accompanying patterns so they re-use the same visuals while appearing different image to image.
Along with a peer, I designed the visual identity for the art fair FemFair. We focused on a cohesive identity across communications with minimal interference specifically for branded email communications and social media promotion. The colors are partially drawn from the sponsor's existing brand colors with added gray and yellow to give the event its own flair. The design was only a portion of my part in this event, as I took the role of event coordinator in charge of organization and outreach.
